Lynda Roberts KM V-Seminar on the Inmagic Website

For all those using Inmagic (and those not using Inmagic) for their KM collections, our very own Lynda Roberts has some fantastic insight into building a law firm KM program in this virtual seminar (24/7 - never expires) on the Inmagic website:

"Implementing a Knowledge Management Solution; Increase Productivity and Collective Knowledge Across Your Law Firm"

The video takes about 40 minutes to view, but is well worth the time.

Some Related Links...

At the most recent meeting, we discussed the Vancouver group 'Knowledge Management Community of Practice'. Here's a link to their website:

http://www.kmcop.org/

We also had a brief discussion of how new vocabulary terms seem to keep popping up, such as "Folksonomy". If anyone wants to do some further reading, the links at the bottom of the Wikipedia page are helpful.

Other tidbits... I wrote a quick note to my personal blog about our first meeting. Here's the link to that. I also wrote about Wixonomy.com - "part Wiki & part Taxonomy", perhaps another interesting read.

Welcome to the VALA KM Blog!

Well, speak of it, and it shall happen. :-) Welcome to the VALA KM Blog! I'll be sending out invites via Blogger shortly to get everyone going and contributing.

If you want to contribute and haven't got an invite yet, let me know and I'll set up an account. If you have an account already, let me know that too... you get the idea.

This should be a nice place for us to share resources, make announcements, and generally keep each other up to speed. Watch out for further announcements!
